Scams, Corruption, Bomb blasts, Terrorist Attacks, Inflation, Price Hike, withdrawal of support to the party, Naxal & Maiosts terror, Nuclear Power Plant, and now Mamata terror has been the hallmark of UPA-II report card.
Corruption:
The party said they will fight Scam and Corruption head on with a bang. This coming from the women who was involved in the Multi-Billion dollar, "Bofors Scandal" along with her husband, Rajiv Gandhi. The investigation is still in progress and Ottavio Quattrocchi released! This scam is begin investigated since 1980 and till now no consensus have been arrived upon.
Do you really think we will arrive to a legitimate conclusion on it, till the time Gandhi's rule the country?
Food Security Bill:
The country is already having an alarm rate of fiscal deficit which is 5.1 per cent. in spite of that Sonia Gandhi wants a Food Security Bill which adds up to the National Exchequer with a burden of Rs. 1,12,000 Crore! A country whose half the funds dry up before reaching the "Aam-Aadmi" its a huge mistake.
Sonia Gandhi put her ass on the line to get it passed in the House!
Welfare of Ex-Servicemen and Serving Defence Service Personnel:
Recently a leading English-News Channel aired a story on the present living conditions of Ex-Army men who lost their legs or eyes or hands fighting a War for the country. Instead of honoring them for their self-less service to the country the Government and the Army are giving half their pension of none!
Why Will an Indian Citizen join the forces if their senior are looked after in such pathetic fashion?
Security:
India as a country has never been so fragile. The Home Ministry and the Minister Chidambaram has his own personal issue over his election in the Center. How will he find time to take care of country's security? There has been "N" number of lapses in passing on the information between the Central investigation agencies and the local agencies which gives time for the Anti-Social elements to make a run!
When the leader's position is in question how can he lead?
Finance Budget:
This year's budget came as a shocker to me personally as a citizen of the country. What on earth was Pranab-da thinking while he decided to increase the Service-Tax, Excise-Duty and Import-Duty? Pranab-da said in an interview that increasing the Excise-Duty will reduce the amount of Illegal-Gold Import!
Cant his government, Step-up the vigilance to Curb it?
Increasing the Service-Tax leaves no option but to increase the prices of commodity in the market. Things right from a House to a Car will be expensive. The inflation is already looking for a bleak to move high.
I'll have to think before i go to a Professional saloon to chop my hair!
Impotence of UPA:
The recent example that comes to my mind while using Impotence is the incapability of the government to absorb pressure and mend ways to stay afloat in the house! Dinesh Tivedi was hailed as a hero for his bold Rail-Budget and the next day made a scapegoat by the INC (Indian National Congress) & TMC (Trinamool Congress).
If the PM hailed Dinesh then why didn't he say no to, Mamta when she was asking for his head?
Lokpal Bill:
Yet another instance showing the incapability of UPA to lead the Largest-Democracy of the world! It presented a weak Lokapal in the very first place and the bill getting passed was another issue.
All that the UPA wanted to do was to show the people that, "Look we tabled the bill but it was not passed, which is not our concern."
I am not Anti-Congress nor am, I a Pro-BJP. All that I care about is my Country and its well being. When the minds of the leaders are without fear and their head held high, that's when my country will live with Pride.
